Since our launch in October 2022, Climate Connect Aotearoa has been dedicated to fostering the collaboration needed to deliver Te Tāruke ā Tāwhiri: Auckland’s Climate Plan. Over the past two years, we’ve worked to connect people, organisations and ideas across the climate innovation ecosystem, laying strong foundations for impactful, system-level programmes.
Our first impact report highlights some of the key milestones and stories from our journey so far. From the creation of tools like ClimateLink to our ongoing work with He Kete Mātauranga, which brings indigenous knowledge to the fore, these initiatives reflect our commitment to collective wellbeing and capacity building. With a focus on tackling challenges such as energy sharing, green jobs and climate adaptation for small to medium-sized businesses, we’re proud of the collaborative mahi underway – and there’s much more to come.
